Welcome

The proverbial girl next door, I grew up in Michigan playing little league soccer, cheerleading and spending most summer days at the lake.  After graduation,  I studied psychology at Michigan State University and landed a job in personal finance where I have stayed for almost thirty years.  Along came marriage, death, kids, cancer, graduate education, divorce, love, loss, community involvement and entrepreneurship.  They are the ordinary tools used to build an extraordinary life.  

Professionally, I built a successful business against the odds.  Not once, but twice.  As a recognized thought leader in my industry and first hand experience as a women succeeding in a male dominated field,  I have a boutique advisor training business along with providing motivational speaking to organizations looking to inspire their women colleagues.  

I am a single mother, newbie golfer and international solo traveler......always excited to see what is around the next corner.

Learning new things!  I recently learned to golf and enjoy playing around the country.  Reading about aviation is also one of my favorite pastimes.  Currently, I am learning tango dancing and take lessons in Detroit & Buenos Aires.

Travel.  I have a curious mind, so traveling near and far feeds my soul.  I come from a family of world travelers and have been to over 30 countries and 30 US States.  The common denominator is chasing sunsets everywhere I go.
